Stainless Steel Super Duplex 2507 is formulated of nickel, chromium and molybdenum and is applied in
applications which require exceptional strength and corrosion
resistance. This high steel alloy has excellent resistance to high
thermal conductivity, resistance to chloride and stress corrosion
cracking and a low coefficient to thermal expansion. It also has
excellent resistance to general corrosion, pitting corrosion and
crevice corrosion.
Super Duplex can work up to 570 °F temperature above which there is a risk of
reduction in toughness. It is also extremely resistant to uniform
corrosion occurred due to organic and inorganic acids such as
formic acid, acetic acid and acids that consists of chlorides. This
high steel alloy is specially formulated to resist pure sulfuric
acid.
